Share some love!

Today I'm here with a new project for

Valentines Day is coming up, and we try to share some love with our projects this month. Love comes in many forms, so don't be shy!

The image I used is Spaced from KennyK Stamps

I colored it up with Prismacolor Pencils only, then used my Promarker Colorless Blender (alcoholmarker) to blend the colors- a technique I have fallen in love with lately. The Promarker Blender has been used EVERYWHERE, but the effect shows best on the background in blue and purple/pink. Added some bling in two of the corners to finish this simple card.

Thank you KennyK Stamps for sponsoring us!

Rosetta Enchantress (Lacy Sunshine)

New Anything Goes challenge is live over at

This was a challenge for me, since I don't have any tradition for carnevals and dress up-celebrations like Mardi Gras. So I went for something subtle, and used with a DP with some patterns and colors.

I have played around with Rosetta Enchantress that you can find here.

My colorrecipe;

Thanks for looking, and please join the challenge :)

Winter landscape

Today I show you a just for fun project- just to relax, play around and see what it ends up like.

I combined the beautiful Water Fairy from FabrikaFantasy with the Ice Skating Lake background from Make It Crafty. For the Water Fairy I made the pond as a hole in the ice, and added some icicles to the waterlily. For the background I practiced perspective and a little reflection (the brown on the ice). It all turned into a fun project :)

February Colouring Challenge

I have used Kangaroo Paw from the new collection Australian Flora, and paired it up with the butterfly from Butterfly Lily.

Its colored up with Prismacolor pencils, with help from a Promarker colorless blender. I used the Kangaroo Paw digi twice, one to add some perspective and the other I enlarged to have in the foreground.

Sentiment is written and cut out using my Silhouette Cameo. I used prismacolor to color up the sentiment a little.

A thin layer of Wink of Stella gave the butterfly a nice shimmer

Colors used:
Flowerstems: Tuscan Red, Black (and a juicy alcohol colorless blender)
Flowers: Spring Green, Yellow
Sky: Mediterranean Blue, Powder Blue (and the blender)

Other materials:
Silhouette Cameo (sketch pen and cutting)
Off white Bazzill paper
Wink of Stella

So pop over to the Make it Colourful blog and join in :)
