Rory At The Beach (Lacy Sunshine DT)

Hi, we're back with a new challenge for you this forthnight, and this time it's time for

#61 Baseball and Applepie
(Picnics, celebrations, BBQs)

I made a centerstep card, and used some old DP leftovers. I added some rhinstones, a seambinding ribbon, some flowersteams and punched butterflies. I also added a starfish-charm with some hemp.

Heather sent me the image Rory At The Beach. I loved it instantly, and coloring her was such fun!
Here is the recipe;

Pop over to the Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog and have a look at all the beautiful cards from rest of the DT, and join us in the fun! You don't have to use an image from Lacy Sunshine Stamps to join us, but we love it when you do! And don't forget the loyalty programme in which if you used a LS image in the last challenge you can claim the current giveaway for free!

Eleanor and Pickles Through The Years Bloghop

(This bloghop starts over at Lacy Sunshine Challenge blog)

Late one night in June of 2012, Heather Valentin was on the phone with her best friend and was drawing, like many of us do when talking on the phone, and the result, the first Eleanor and Pickles image – Eleanor and Pickles Book of Spells. The first image of Eleanor by herself, was Eleanor Bookworm.

Now, 3 years later, Eleanor and Pickles make up the largest category of images created by Heather Valentin for Lacy Sunshine Stamps. Eleanor and Pickles along with various other character friends, like Tilly the dinosaur, have had many adventures over the past 3 years and Heather continues to draw new images of these delightful characters.

Over the next 2 days, the Lacy Sunshine DT gals will be celebrating Eleanor and Pickles 3rd Anniversary/Birthday with our Through The Years Blog Hop. Please come hop along with us to win some “Pickletastic” prizes and see some Heather’s favorite Eleanor and Pickles images. You can visit Lacy Sunshine Shoppe to view the entire range of images available for purchase.

You should have visited Lisa right before me, so if you didnt do that, please go back :)

I have had a moneysaver laying around among my "if and when"- stuff. Once and awhile it has come to sight, and stucked away again. Well, with this digi I knew time had come. It's now or never :)

I wrapped a piece of cardstock around the can, tied a ribbon around it and decorated with some flowers, leaves and pearls. I colored up the image and layered it on some cardstock. I also printed a little warning and added to the panel. After all, this money is guarded by ELEANOR AND PICKLES LIL' DEVILS

The image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
Unfortunatly, my youngest daughter ran off with my little notepaper were colors was listed, but if you are interested in the list I will do my best figuring them out :)

(Other supplies: Leaves from Storyteller, flowers from Wild Orchid Craft I think, Bazzill, ribbon from a "one dollar shop". Pearls from stash)

Thank you for looking and leaving a comment :)
Next Sunshine Girl to visit is...

Ginger Pin Up

I colored up this beautiful image from Lacy Sunshine long time ago, today she finally made it to a card! Since I have been sooo darn proud of the coloring job here, I wanted to display her properly. So I just layered purple-ish bazzill cardstock (Heather) with some white cardstock. Popped up some of the layers using 3D pads and voila; card done :)

And if you wonder; I used my prismacolor pencils :)

Outlawz DT

Bright Colors with TTPHC (DT) and an Announcement!

Hi everyone!
I'm back with Through The Purple Haze and now as owner of this blog! With me as Co-Owner I have the lovely Lucy that has been part of the DT for a long time :)

Theme for May:

For the month of May we have Lacy Sunshine as sponsor, so it's from home to home for me :)

Pop by the shoppe to have a look, there are many new digis now!

I had a play with Monster Boo, and I had a really hard time coloring up this little monster. Cute she is, but somehow I found her very difficult to color up

I made an albumcover for my youngest daughter Thea- she loved Monster Boo when she spotted it and wanted her on her album.

And here it is after Thea had finished decorating :) She loves playing around with glue, and I can't stop her, can I?

So, pop over to
and have a look at all the lovely creations from the DT :)
