I'm not the angel you think I am! *Outlawz Sketch (DT)*

Hello lovelies! I'm back with a card for Sketch team over at

And our lovely sponsor is
Its sad that this is the last week we are sponsored by this amazing sponsor! I have had tons of fun with the images from The Stamping Chef!

This time I used Angelic Angel Ann. My intention from the start was to use her for a sympathycard, but I obviously was not into that kind of cardmaking! The card was almost done, coloring almost finished. The halo suddenly was colored in light grey... Her skintone and lipcolor is nothing close eighter. And the diecut turned out black.... Sorry, not a sympathy card at all!

Behind the image I hid a little tag;

All text is written in Word using one of the Jellyka-fonts that I love. "Sorry" was cut out using craftknife, then heatembossed using clear embossingpowder. Did I burn my fingers? Yes... So I was quick finding one of my tweezers... to line up the letters I glued them to a small strip of plastic- if you zoom in you should be able to see it. For the tag's text I colored the edges with the same markers as the cloud, and added Stickles "Frosted Lace" here as well.

Close up:
I added some glossy accent and a glitter to her wings and halo. And Im so pleased with how the colorcombo for wings and dress turned out! Happy accidents DO occure *lol*  But my thoughts about the hair is the total opposite: its a disaster! I have no idea what I was doing there... Better try fix that! Please check back later to see the repair.
Well, thats almost all for this time. Take a look at our sketch below, and have a play with us:)

After a wee break two weeks ago, I'm back with team A over at

Theme this week is:
Dots and/or stripes

And we are sponsored by

Yay, thats convenient ;) And here comes the sweetest Boo around, Thea Boo!! With her balloons :)
I colored her up a while back, and added her to a background I made using Distress Paint with the help of a Duplo. Before the paint dried, I applied fairydust glitter. Its not easy to see in the pic below, but at least it shows the colors correct :)

I fuzzy cutted the image and popped it up by using 3Dgluepads. Added a dotted ribbon and printed out a sentiment saying "Congrats!"

So whats youre choic? Dots? Stripes? Both?
Head over to the challengeblog and join the fun :)

My Heart Pieces Digital Stamp Challenges

DT Badge

You can visit the store HERE.

And my first project is: Artist Ankhi ! Isnt she lovely? I decided to keep adding flowers around her, more and more of them. The box can never be closed again, but I now have a lovely wooden box displayed in my livingroom :)

The box is from a set of 5 that I found back in 1993 while visiting Poland. I sanded it down, painted it with Gesso, then Distress Paint Picked Raspberry and then a layer of Glimmer Glam in the color Burgundy.

By the way, did I mentioned that we have a challenge starting today? No?
Anything But A Card

A close up of the image

Since Blogger, the unpredictable Blogger, deleted my origial post after scheduling some weeks ago, I have lost my supplylist and list of colors used.
What I know for sure is that I used Promarkers and Flexmarkers as coloring medium, and flowers of a wide range of brands. The DP in the bottom of the box is K&Company and the huuuge rose is from -Nille (original white, but colored with a mist).

Make sure to pop by the challengeblog  and join our challenge with your anything but a card project :)

Outlawz Sketch DT: You just got colorbombed, be happy and say...

Its time for a new sketch over at

and we are still sponsored by

Once again, I use an earlier freebie from lovely Tamara :)
I used a milkglass and the bottom of a mist bottle as stamps. The circles are made using Distress Paints. Then the image is popped up using 3D gluepads. Two small ribbonpieces in the corner and the card was done. Clean and simple :)

The colors are a bit off in the photos, taking pics in crazy light is not a smart thing to do...

A close up:

And here is the sketch :) Me and my teamies would love to see your take on this one, so head on over to the Outlawz forum and join the fun :)

Promarkers used:
Blue: True Blue, Azure, Sky Blue Pink: Vermillion, Magenta, Cerise
Lilac: Sugar Plum, Purple, Orchid Red: Crimson, Amaranth, Lispstick Red
Orange: Orange, Pumpkin, GoldYellow: Yellow, Lemon, Gold
Green: Pine, Emerald, Bright Green Around "Thanks": Storm Blue, Sea Mist
Shading: CG4, Sea Mist

Fantasy scene with Fifi FlirtyDust (Lacy Sunshine DT)

"Anyone up for a fantasy project with cute furballs?" That was the question lovely Heather asked. I jumped on it, and I had such a great time in my craftroom making one of the brand new hobgobbins colorful :)

In the wor(l)d of fantasy, let the colors flow!

Isnt she ADORABLE?
Her name is Fifi FlirtyDust from the Hobgobbi family. She, and her family, are now available over at the store :)

The background is simple, I used one of my orange mists (with glimmer that does not show...) and used my heatgun to make it dry quickly. The trees and the log is from the set Camping Digi Bits

In the image above you can easily see that its a 3D scene. The log is popped up with 2 mm gluepads. Moving foreward in the scene, the orange grass is glued to the cardbase fold in the botton, and with 3 mm gluedots. The tree is popped up with gluedots, and Fifi popped even more :) At last, the two pieced pink grass is popped in front of Fifi.
*****To be honest, I wished I had 3 hands (or even better; 4 hands) when getting this scene together ;)*****

To avoid the front tree and Fifi to fall back (or curl up), I folded thin paperstrips and attached behind them- and the other end to the orange background.

Oh, wait a second! I have a little guest designer with me today :) Thea loves coloring the same image as Im working on, so here is her takes;

What I used;
Papers: Bazzill cardstock (Natural), Color Copy for printing and coloring
Coloring medium: promarkers
Supplies: 3D gluepads, Sakura Glaze pen, Stickles Glitter (Fruit Punch), Glue Pad, glitter powder, Perfect Pearls Mists (Mandarin)

Promarkers/Flexmarkers used:
Greens: Pine, Emerald, Bright Green
Lilac: Maroon, Boysenberry, Peony
Pinks: Shocking Pink, Cerise
Blues: True Blue, Sky Blue, Arctic Blue
Orange: Orange, Pumpkin, Gold

Outlawz Sketch (DT); Shave The World and Georgia The Brave from The Stamping Chef

Seems like my post for last weeks Sketch went missing? Well, I add it at the bottom of this post, so at least you can have a look at it :)

We are sponsored by the amazing

And our ongoing Sketch, starting today is this beauty:

Here is my take, using Shave The World- she was a freebie I snagged a while back :)
I kept it pretty monochrome, and with the glossy paper as bricks I got the feeling of SPA treatment... Or at least, a very clean bathroom ;)

The recipe is easy; Bazzill (Powder Blue), my coloring paper, and leftovers from my project that I published Monday. Yeah, and some small epoxy stickers up in the corner.

Except the skintone colors (my regular Coral, Oatmeal, Blush, Light Fawn+ Pastel Pink combo), I used Aquamarine (Flexmarker) and Ice Grey 3 for the towels and the shaving foam (added Blender for the foam).

I'd like to join:
And this was the result

Last weeks sketch was this one:

And this is the card I made with it, using Georgia The Brave.
Its on my desk, reminding me about taking small steps and avoid negative thoughts. A therapy card, sort of speak :)

Details TBA.

Best wishes,
