DT Outlawz, Sketch: Now with the card *shame shame*

Timezones!!! Who altered my blogs timezone??? Me???

Hello crafty friends :)

Its wednesday, and that means a new sketch over at the Outlawz!

Visit shop
And here is the sketch;

I used a precolored version of a image from Dee Dee this time, I just altered the little fellows color a little bit. I also used some digital designpaper that matched :) Not often I use digital sheets, but this time I did!

The card is 12 x 12 cm,  so smaller than I usually do.

A little look inside of the card;
I used the negative after diecutting my doily circle used on the front. And added a new diecut inside of it. I usually don't include this technique in my crafting, so I did something new this time as well (something new for every creation I do).

Sooo, thats all for now:) Hope to see you over at The Outlawz this week :)

BIG NEWS! I'm a Sunshine Girl!!

Yes, I have joined the Sunshine Girls over at Lacy Sunshine ! Thank you so much Heather and Manderly for giving me this opportunity! This is a totally new experience for me, but when I was asked to join I didn't hesitate a second! Now I can only hope that I live up to your expectations ;) I'm pretty sure I will learn a whole lot from this wonderful team and that I'm gonna love the journey ahead :)

Its a new challenge over at
Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog
and the theme is

My first image to play with is beautiful Emmilou Boo, she seems to be a country girl just like me :) And trust me- I colored her up a couple of times before I decided that my coloring was good enough for a card -no pressure at all? *lol*

Deep red and greens are some of my favorite colors , but they are not easy to combine most of the time. I feel I managed to balance them pretty good on this card :)

I tied the double bow using both raffia and organza.

I dont have so many different flowers, but managed to make a variety.
A pearlstring also found its place.

Emily Boo is available in the Lacy Sunshine Shop. Isnt she just adorable? I have colored her using my Promarkers.

So what are your favorite color combo? Head over to the challenge blog and see what my lovely team mates have made to inspire you and to enter your own creations :)

Anything Goes with Brown Sugar Challenge and Rick St Dennis (#91)

Its Friday and that means a new challenge over at
and this week we are sponsored by

I had "Lady Nouveau" to play with, and TRUST me- no steampunk from me this time :) Victoria McSteeme scared me big time not so long ago, so a "nice and easy one" for me this time...

I tested my Vintage skills... Or the lack of Vintage skills *lol* I started out printing out a old page onto my coloring paper. Then, I printed my digi on top of that. I colored the lady with my Promarkers and started to make the paper look old. I used Distress Ink Antique Linen for this, teared off a bit of the paper and added faux stitches around the edges.

I used flowers from my stash, a lace from -Nille, some blingswirl from Prima and brown "fishingnet ribbon" from Europris. Also some cheesecloth found its way to this project. Papers from Maja Design and Pion. A piece of a doily die cut in the upper right corner has been colored with coffee. Will come back regarding the old page I printed out :)

Promarkers used:
Skin: Coral, Blush, Light Fawn
Hair: Umber, Sandstone, Satin
Dress: Azure, Sky Blue, Arctic Blue
Green: Holly, Moss

I would like to join following challenges:
Addicted to stamps And More! : Make your mark (2nd entry)

Thanks for looking, and have a fun time crafting for our Anything Goes :D

DT Outlawz, sketch: Christmas Bunny with no line-technique

Sorry late posting!!! :( I thought this one went live yesterday... noooot so :(

Hello crafty friends :)

Its wednesday, and that means a new sketch over at the Outlawz!

Visit shop
And here is the sketch;

I used a sweet little bunny from a Valentine set, I thought he might as well would do a great Christmas card. For this card I tried a new technique for me; No lines. Well, more out of lines- but it was really fun! Took me ages to color it, but the finished result is more than ok for me :)

I added Liquid Pearls to his cap, and stickles to the snow. And for ONCE: It shows very good!  The seniment is from Storyteller I think, saying Merry Christmas. I stamped it twice using Memento Espresso Trouffle, once on Kraft, once on DP- and layered it using 3d gluedots. Punched out some snowflakes, added Liquid Pearl to the center for the 4 on top. Stitching done by hand, using thread from Sew Easy or something...

He is a funny bunny to color, here is a close up:

Pro/Flex used:
Bunny: Warm Grey 1-5. Nose: Walnut, Dusky Rose, Blender. Reds: Henna, Walnut, Firebrick, Burnt Orange. Greens: Holly, Emerald. Envelope: Umber, Pastel Beige, Blender.
Mailbox (my weak part for this project): Walnut, Firebrick, Gold, different browns (that really messed it up), Cool Grey 2-5
Snow: Glacier Blue, Sky Blue
Image: from DeeDee's Designs, sentiment from Storyteller
Papers: Kraft cardstock, DP leftovers
MS snowflake punch, Sew Easy threads, Liquid Pearls "White Opal", Stickles

I would like to join following challenges with my little fellow:
Crafty Little Fairies : Furry Friends
Crimbo- Crackers : Jinglebells
Crafters Cafe : Glitter

Thats it for now :)
Hope to see your card over at The Outlawz this week!!

JIC: Bingo - Good vs Evil (DT)

Today I will show you my card for Just Inspirational
and we have a BINGO!!!
Use any row or column you want, horizontal, vertical or diagonal. And why not add some of the other items listed in the bingo as well? I sure did and suddenly I had quite a collection of rows by accident :)

Our sponsor this week is

I was lucky receiving "Good vs Evil" from our sponsor Sassy Studio to play with, and I had the perfect plan for this card. That went straight in the bin... So, plan B:

It turned out to become a Joyfold card, sort of... The digis length is close to 5.5" so my possibilites was quite limited. But I had a fun time adding embellies to it :) I distressed all DP edges after inking them. I used a oval die to make the top shape of the tag inside, added a ribbon bow and a pearl. Underneath the lace by the Good girls upper leg, I placed a magnet. Then added one to the flap underneath to make the card close without to much gap :)

Close up of the image

Pro/flexmarkers used:

The Good side:
Skin: Coral, Oatmeal, Blush, Light Fawn, Pastel Pink. Hair: Ivory, Sandstone. Pinks: Pale Blossom, Blossom, Rose Pink
The Evil side:
Skin: Oatmeal, Blush, Light Fawn. Hair: Black, Midnight Blue, Azure, Sky Blue

Creme cardstock, DP from Maja Design
Lace from Storyteller, ribbon and pearlstring from -Nille. Twine in pink/white.
Die Oval Floral from Spellbinder, Butterfly punch from MS. Brads and flowers from stash. Glitter Stickles.

Short post from me this time, so if any questions just ask :)

Hope to see your card over at JIC this week! Happy crafting!

TTPH #38: Creativity Strikes- Flamenco Dancer x 2

Welcome to a new week and a new challenge with

This week we are sponsored by

I got this AMAZING image from Milk Coffee to play with; Flamenco Dancer. Isnt she just beautiful?

I tried, for me, a new folding technique. The image is a big tag that keeps the card folded! I saw a card folded this way, and after the "watch the card and find out how to fold it by yourself"-tutorial I was able to make my own card. Really fun fold :)

Take out the tag, and you can open the card
(and use it as a display for the image lol)

or see the insides of course :)

Close up;

Promarkers used:
Skin: Saddlebrown (Flex), Coral, Blush, Light Fawn (Flex). Hair: Black, Midnight Blue, Azure, Sky Blue
Purple: Winterberry, Spring Lilac, Orchid. Blue: Midnight Blue, Hearthstone, Polar Blue, April Shower

Supplies used:
Creme cardstock, DP from Maja Design, patp-puncher fra MS, butterfly punch from MS, flowers from stash colored with Promarkers, seambinding ribbon colored with Promarkers. Brad from stash. Stickles.

I would like to join following challenges with my purple/blue Flamenco girl:
The Paper Nest Norway: #8 Anything Goes

And I have one more Flamenco Dancer to show off :) This card was made for KOM #1 over at Scrapping.no for some weeks ago. The theme was Purple and Orange/Yellow. Really simple card, where the digi is pretty much the entire card :)

I used my Promarkers again;
Skin: Coral, Blush, Light Fawn, Pastel Pink
Hair: I have forgotten the colors used...
Purple; Aubergine, Purple, Orchid
Orange: Burnt Orange, Heatwave, Orange, Ginger, Tequila Sunrise.

Supplies: White bazzill, 4cc 280 gms

Thank you for visiting me, and I hope to see your entry over at

DT Outlawz Sketch ; Happy Easter!!!

Hello crafty friends :)

Its wednesday, and that means a new sketch over at the Outlawz! I decided to play with some very very old, partly dry and damaged Colorbox Cats eye inkpads this time. The inspiration behind this was a punchart card that I saw over at Pinterest earlier this year.

Visit shop
And here is the sketch;

I stamped and stamped, squeezed and ended up with enough cat eyes to create a huge load of flower, or something entirely different- after a lot of cutting. Some of the "eyes/petals" I have used for this project :) Since the card is yellow, I decided to use some of my orange, pink and purple "petals". I shaped the flowerpetals, but it doesnt show so very good. One of the green cat eyes-pads I used for inking up paper that I handcut into leaves.

The ribbon... this is a combination of a paperstrip as base. Along the edge I added a funky "ribbon", and over it I added a satin ribbon. Before adhering it to the paperstrip I tied a bow and threaded it on the ribbon.

Supplies used:
Sugarcane paper as cardbase, Bazzill "Straw" as matting and for the frame, yellow bazzill.
Colorbox Cats Eye inkpads in various colors
Scissors, glue, ATG
Ribbons from stash

Thats all for now :) Hope to see your make for this sketch over at The Outlawz :)

And here is my card :) I used one of the digis I had already from Lacy Sunshine for this card. I colored her up some time back, so I hope I remember the correct markers that I used *lol*

I made a simple pocket card this time. I folded my cardbase, glued on top and bottom to make a pocket out of it and made a "tag" to fit inside. DP used are leftover pieces from my box.
Sorry crazy colors here
I love this digi, and it is my second *LOVE LOVE* digi from Lacy Sunshine :) My other favorite digi from LS you can see here.

My embellies for this card are flowers, pearl strings and some leafs. I also used a doily die from Cheery Lynn and to diecut my image I used Floral Ovals from Spellbinder.

Pro/Flexmarkers used:
Skin: Coral, Blush, Light Fawn, Pastel Pink
Hair: Umber, Sandstone, Satin
Eyes: Umber, Sandstone, Burnt Sienna
Lilac: Purple, Spring Lilac, Orchid
(As I mentioned, my colorchart might have some wrong colors listed...)

Thats it for now, hope to see your entry over at BSC this week :)
