Just Inspirational : Swirls (DT)

Hello, I'm back with a new project for
Just Inspirational Challenges

Our sponsor this week is
who gives our winner 3 images! You find the shop here: Dilly Beans Digi Stamps

The theme for this week is SWIRLS, so come on and join us with a new creation

I used this curly girl called "Lulu Framed" to make my April- page for my birthday calender. So not a card from me this time :)

This is a new kind of image for me to use, so I went crazy with the colors, just to get the feel of it... (Colors used is to be found at the bottom of this post)

I used a Sakura Glaze pen to add the white dots to her eyelashes. Liquid Pearl for her cheeks (white) and hair (orange)

The diecuts (the flourish and the letters) was from my stash, diecutted a while ago and colored up with Promarkers. Used one of the green promarkers to make a leafy thing curve around the letters, and used a thin black pen to make uneven lines along it.

Flowers from stash
Dies from Tim Holtz and ...eh forgot the flourish...sorry

Promarkers used:
Skin: Light Fawn, Blush, Coral
Hair: Amber, Pumpkin, Ginger, Spice
Eyes: Aegan, Cyan
Hearts: Burgundy, Ruby
Neck: Amethyst, Orchid
Background: Lush Green, Green, Emerald

Thanks for looking :)

Through The Purple Haze # 26: Diecut and digi (DT)

Hello Monday, and hello to you all :)

I'm back joining Team B this week, and I have played around with two of our sponsors this week;

The image Gothic Fantaseyes from Lacy Sunshine

and the die "Fan" (Oriental collection) from Tattered Lace Dies

We are also sponsored by sweet Pink Gem Designs

So make sure to join

this week, as there are a chance for 3 lucky winners this week!!!

The recipe is easy: I used some Promarkers to color up the image a bit, and for that I used Black and Cool Grey 1-5, Yellow and Buttercup. 3 ribbons that I have cut off from clothes and 3 flowers. The fan is cut out from a silvery pattern paper from Kaisercraft and I used the die to draw, and then cut out a backing paper for the fan.

I love the dramatic look it gave picking up the colors from the flowers center and use it for her eyes :)

I join following challenges:
Great Impressions Stamps : Use something new (New die! this is my 2nd entry)
My Sheri Crafts : Use a digi

Image Gotic Fantaseyes from Lacy Sunshine
Die "Oriental Fan" from Tattered Lace Dies
DP from KaiserCraft (After Five Collection)
Bazzill black and white
Flowers from stash
Ribbons from stash
Distress Ink "Black Soot"

Thanks for looking :)

Through The Purple Haze #25 : Favorite colour (DT)

What an amazing week we had last week, so many entries! Thanks to all who played along!!

Its a new week over at

and its Team A who hosts this challenge:

Pick your favorite color!

And with us we have lovely Delicious Doodles that gave DT some beautiful images to play with, thank you!
One lucky winner will also get 4 images as prize from this amazing sponsor :)

And we have a second sponsor as well, Dis Digistamps! They offer a $12 coupon to a second winner!

And over to my project :) I have many favorite colors, and for the moment its burgundy! I made a easelcard using the beautiful image "Mythical Pegasus" from Delicious Doodles. And for once, its not colored with promarkers!!

This was a really tricky card to get decent photos of because the dark burgundy and all the glitter. So I will show you several images so you might get a feel of how the wings actually changes colors after the lightsource.

The wings got a thin layer of Yellow stickles, and in the darkest shadings Golden Rod. After it dried, I painted Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam over the wings to match them up to the cardstock. The golden hint from the stickles shows through the paint, and its really beautiful in RL. Mane and tail got a layer of Silver, while I added a bit Icicle to the body.

I would love to join following challenges:

TA Glimmer Glam "Burgundy"
Pearls from Prima (gift from my Secret Santa!)
Dies fra Lifestyle Craft
Flourish die from Memory Box
Burgundy cardstock
White cardstock
Silver Sugar Coated cardstock

misc: flowers

Thanks for looking and please leave a comment so I know you visited me ;)

Just Inspiration Challenges: Children (DT)

I just joined the DT over at
Just Inspiration Challenges

and I'm so delighted to be a part of this team :)

This week we are sponsored by lovely StampArt Design

Here is my first card for JIC, using the image "Elphie The Elephant" from Stampart.
The card is for a newborn boy :) I thought I had loads of time to make this card, but the little boy decided to be borned 7 weeks early. I hope he have a beautiful life ahead  and I wish him all the best for the future (the card is made upon request).

I have used Flexmarkers Blue Grey 1,3 and 5, and Promarkers Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink and Salmon Pink. For the eyes and the butterfly I used promarker Azure and Sky Blue, and added a bit Baby Blue Stickles. (After the images was taken I had to go over with the blender to remove "unauthorized coloring" outside the lines *lol*)

Not easy getting the Stickles to show of this time, but both butterfly wings and Elphies eyes have stickles.

Hey and welcome to our first challenge of the year! We have already done TWO bloghops this year, if you missed any of those it might be worth taking a look ;)

Anyway, over to our weekly challenge, and as sponsor we have lovely
who gives our lucky winner 3 digis!!

The DT also got some images to play with, and I choosed "Jason and Eve" from the Manga-collection.

I've used my Promarkers/Flexmarkers to color the digi, and for the icecreams: Liquid Pearls and a little bit of Stickles. For Jason and Eve I added some Glossy Accent to their eyes.

The card untied.

The insides are very plain. I made pockets for the white cardstock, ready to decorate when the proper occasion comes along :) The silvery DP is the other side of the paper used for "the fence" in front of the card.

A closeup of Jason and Eve. I didn't bother doing a lot of stuff to this page as its supposed to have "the fence" in front of it ;)
