I actually made two things for this challenge since I had to make two cards :) Ready for loads and loads with GLITTER??? I don't think I ever have used so much glitter before...

My youngest daughter turned 3 years old Oct 24, and for her I made this GIANT trishuttercard (8" X 6" folded):

Some details:

Letters cut from "Alphabetical" from Tim Holtz, cut out of green glittery cardstock

Same her; "Hurra" from Alphabetical (TH). The butterfly I cut out of DP (K&Company) and added MORE glitter. Up in the left corner you can see a glimse of a dragonfly's tale... Its also  DP from K&Company.

Image is diecutted with a Cheery Lynn die. All edges inked with Dusty Concord, and added tons of glitter. Wings and flowers (both on image and the embellis) also got some glitter :)

Over to the other project :)

A friend of my little rasqal turned 4 years Oct 27, so here is the card for Sanna:

Sparkling uhm?

Inside both cards; a birthday song that EVERY Norwegian know by heart. It's from 1911, written by a local woman, Margrethe Munthe. On this card I inked up both the songtext and the sentiment with two colors, Victorian Velvet and Dusty Concord.

A closeup of the fairy, and yes; she got some glitter too :)

Promarker colors, both images:
Light Fawn (F), Blush, Coral
Wings, dress, flowers (different combos):
Blossom, Fresh Bloom, Lilac, Peony, Pink Carnation, Trophical Orchid, Maroon
Leafs, stems: Olive Green, Marsh Green

What I used:
Image from Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet "Waiting For You (1)"
DP from K & Company
White Bazzill
Flowers from Prima, Panduro, WOC
Martha Stewart butterfly-punch
1" circle punch
Dies: Cheery Lynn, Spellbinder
Lace: -Nille, misc
Glitterglue: Thistle, Winter White
Distress Ink: Dusty Concord, Victorian Velvet

If any questions, just leave me a comment and I'll come back to you :)
