Brick wall

Well, FINALLY I came around and linked up my first project for Technique Time Tuesday (Brick wall technique). I also join No Matter Which Challenges (#7 Anything goes) for the first time.

The technique is very, very cool, and tricky. And I made it even harder for myself...adding 3D gluedots under my bricks. I regretted it after lining up the second row *lol* But I kept on struggling. It looks a lot like CAS, ehm? But I prefer calling it CAT (Clean And Tricky) *lol*

No embellishment, and only black and white!!! Full focus on the stamped image and the technique. It didn't feel right to do anything more with this one. It's VERY pretty in RL, and my oldest daughter has offered it a place on her desk. I will certainly use this technique again. Hopefully very soon :)

The bricks are layered on different 3D gluedots, and some direct to the black cardstock, making a total of four different "levels". Hopefully this picture shows some dimension.

What I used:
Bazzill (Black, White)
Distress Ink (Black Soot) for edges
Stamp unknown, stamped with Versafine (Pitch Black)
Gluedots (1 mm, 1,5 mm and 2 mm)

Thanks for looking :)
