Inkspirational #7: Photo Inkspiration EOTW (DT bidrag)

Our lovely sponsor give our monthly winner a $30 Gift Card!!!

Time for a new Photo Inkspiration over at Inkspirational :D
This time I've played with some free digis from our great sponsor this month: Eclectic Anthology :)
I don't have PhotoShop, but I have GIMP- and that is almost the same- just for free*lol*. So, I've been playing with layers and used two digital freebies to make my flower basket inside the frame. I used the eraser-tool in GIMP to erase the part of the basket that didn't fit inside my choosen frame size. I'm very pleased with the result :D I also tried out a new kind of folding technique, at least new to me. Here is the tutorial.

Utfordringen denne gangen;

Jeg hadde det kjempegøy mens jeg lagde dette kortet, mojoen var definitivt tilbake- og selv om jeg måtte lage mine egne mål for dette kortet, så gikk det veldig greit. Her et bilde av kortet sammenbrettet;

Og et bilde med vinkel for å vise de ulike lagene;

I printed my edited image 4 times. 3 of them used to the main image, the last one is for the "wings" of the card. I used gluepads in different sizes to layer the flowers. I used a craft knife to cut them out. I placed some very small magnets under the DP so the card could close properly.

What I used:
Freebies from Eclectic Anthology (frame and flower basket)
Bazzill: "Flamingo" and "Vanilla"
DP: Basic Grey
GIMP
3D gluepads
Pearls
Spellbinder "Floral Ovals"
Distress Ink "Frayed Burlap"
(And: Craft knife, liquid glue, ATG, MS Circle Cutter, Big Shot)

  1. Hi Lisbeth, Impressive folding!! The frame and the die cuts look great around flower basket and I think it was a good choice to use a red base card. Fab project. Marina
